The World we live in
Ever stopped to thing about what could be happening 2 countires away from where you are right now, or should I say on the opposite side of the continent where we are right now. I believe that can become possible after one gets to a point where s/he can actually or has actually taken in nearly all that is taking place around him or her. But in this day and age where its "survival for the fitest" (in the contest of life) its almost impossible to take in all around, how much more the next country , much less the opposite side of the continent from where you are.
Having travelled from continent to continent, one cannot begin to think of this without first of all counting forwards some hours or counting backwards as the case may be. Let me use London as my case study which is some place I have visited a couple of times. London is five hours ahead of me so it should be time for the kids to take an evening shower (how many of them do these days with so many TV channels and moms out the door like the fathers trying to bring in the bacon) well, I am talking about the ideal here. Kids are in their PJs and having dinner or watching tv and getting ready for bed. The weather right now cannot be warm thought its May1st, so I believe flannel PJs are what they are wearing and snuggled up on the couches getting ready for bedtime. Quick flash back home, my kids are in school and will not get out for the next 1 hour and 15mins. Isn't the world just a phonomenal place to live in. Lets talk about Wellington, (I have not been there, wonder what its like there, the people, the food, what they believe, holidays etc) by the way its New Zealand its about 2am the children are as fast asleep as a bolt on the door and infact, it'll be time to school in just a few hours. And I am talking about a new school day when my kids have not even gotten out of their school day today.
Sorry if I am confusing you, I promise this is not my intention, its just that trying to figure all these out sometimes makes us realise that we need to be congnisant of the fact that since there is a God who has all these under control then, why should I be worrying. And definitely I must be more important to Him than the entire universe which is wasting away by the year despite the fact that it is functioning as perfectly as it was meant to.
Its a good thing to get some financial freedom, that way you do not have to get tied down. Which means you get to do whatever you are meant to do, so you can live the way you were meant to live, until that is achieved, most things are done with so much tension and difficulty. Maybe not for you but the little I can remember that period in my life was not easy.
This is a good place to stop and ponder selah!
